Koni FSD and NM Springs

While technically, I know your "not supposed to do it", I've read threads on other forums about people mixing Koni FSD shocks with NM springs. Obviously, shock life would be slightly reduced on the lower springs, but just wondering if anyone here had used this combination, and what their thoughts are about it.
Thanks

It won't work. The shaft will have too much travel and damage the valve at the bottom of the shock and ruin the shocks. We've seen this before and so has Koni, so they know what it looks like and will not warranty it. If you want to lower with the NM springs go with the Koni Yellows.

Thank you for the kind response. It's hard to compete around here with the vendors that pay someone to post links to their parts within minutes of the original post being made.

I already have the NM springs installed with the factory shocks. Trying to get rid of that slight vibration because of the axle angle. So, in your opinion Way, wouldI be better off adding the Koni yellows to the NM, or picking up a set of St Coilovers, which I could raise slightly? Which would give me the most forgiving street drive?

oh?
Do you know who makes the KWshocks? What I've read from other board members is that the KW is a little soft for their taste, especially on the track. That may be exactly what I'm looking for....as my car will never sniff a track, but sure does find some bad roads....
