First Road Trip

Made the Thanksgiving run up I-45 from Houston to Dallas on Wednesday and returned yesterday morning.

With only 2,200 miles on the odometer at the start of the trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the car drove on the highway. Both ways were covered in packs of cars running in the mid-80's mph with occasional bursts to 90 mph. Travel times were during light traffic.

I was amazed at the throttle response, power, and over all ride. The car felt great.

I've got a Nissan 370Z Nismo and have to admit the MINI was just as much fun to drive and way more comfortable.

Agreed. This thing is fun to drive and like you I'm glad I pulled the trigger.
