I just purchased a 2012 Mini Countryman S (23,000miles) for my wife, I know nothing about it. I joined his website to shorten the learning curve. Thanks in advance for any pointers, tips, recommendations, etc.

I think i would have done some research/reading before purchasing the car. Is the car an Auto or Manual? If manual has the clutch been replaced? There have been many complaints about the 2011-2012 clutches. As for the engine, regular oil changes are essential.

 

I read a ton of internet reviews and watched countless youtube reviews about the Mini and the different models before purchasing, I narrowed it down to Golf GTI, Ford Focus S and Mini Cooper S.....what I should have said was I have no experience owning, driving or maintaining one and I've never owned a Mini brand car. I got the auto as it is for my wife.
