International Mini Cooper Day is going to be observed at Dagwoods Deli and Bumsteads Euro Pub in Myrtle beach SC located at 400 Mr Joe White Ave.on July 10th 2004 from 1pm to 4pm.About twenty parking spaces will be reserved in the ocean front parking lot which is owned and is right across the street from the Deli.We will proceed with lunch around 1:15pm and view our Coopers afterward. We also plan to cruise down ocean boulevard later around 4pm.If you are interested in coming or would like further information contact me at Lawbench191@aol.com or call evenings 843-650-5051.This is a new event which may encourage those to help formulate a local Mini club here in the Grand Strand.

This could have been fun, but a 3 day notice is a killer for me. I can't find a fill in at work in time. Would have loved to attend though.

 

International Mini Cooper Day.....cool! Make sure and tell everybody present to celebrate John Cooper's birthday the following week on the 17th!!!

 

I posted it on the Mini Owners site and the Mini2 site about two weeks ago but forgot to post on this sight until till late. If we have a good response to this event we may do it again in the fall again. It looks like we are going to have about Eight to Ten Minis so far and possibly an original Mini their. Thanks for the thought and I assure this will be the first sight noticed next time.

 

Hey I just want to thank all of you from NC and SC that attended International Mini Cooper Day in Myrtle Beach SC! We had a great turnout of about 10 Minis even with the short notice that was given to put the thing together. We all had a great time together at Lunch sharing MINI stories and the cruise together down the boulevard was spectacular.Maybe in the future we can do an Autocross and another Meet. Ill soon be sending all of you the pictures from the meet and or crusing pictures.Best wishes and hope to see yall again at another Meet.

Hey I hope to have our pictures from Myrtle Beach all downloaded from a disc this weekend and forwarded to your email addresses.Maybe next year a Myrtle Beach event can be larger and in the fall on an off football weekend in September or October.
