Flush Clutch Slave Cylinder with Brakes

Hi,
Recently my brake and brake fluid service lights lit up on my 2011 Countryman S. I just changed my front brakes and am waiting for my rears to come in. I was going to flush the brake fluid myself and bought the motive power bleeder for the job.

It's my first manual trans car, and I didn't realize that the brake fluid is shared with the clutch. I read on this site that maybe I should flush the slave cylinder as well?

Most of the info I found is for the R53, and it seems its a little different on the countryman. I was wondering if anyone has done this on a countryman, and if so how similar is the procedure? Do I have to remove the slave cylinder and compress the plunger, then open up the bleeder? Then close the bleeder, release the plunger, then reinstall the slave cylinder?

I've never removed a slave cylinder, but do most of my car work myself.

Thanks for any info.
