Sunroof wind noise

is there any kind of adjustment on the sunroofs? I'm getting a lot of wind noise normal driving 30+mph sounds almost like its open does not leak though. Has anyone had similar problem and had it fixed?

How far are you opening the sunroof? If just part way, lots of noise. All the way, not too bad. If it opens and closes ok, you probably don't need any adjustment..

Where he states "it does not leak" suggests that he's talking about when it's closed.

I'm also getting wind noise just though it was my wipers or something, but I did have the entire sunroof removed for some body and paint work around the sunroof. If there was a way to get rid of this wind noise excellent.

I get the same wind noise from my R56 sunroof when it is closed. I did read a R56 review in Road & Track mag some months ago and they stated they have the same sunroof wind noise in the R56 that they were long term testing.

Well mine sunroof started after it was removed do to body work being done on the roof, they told me that they had to replace the seal for the sunroof. Since I have a lifetime warranty at the body shop I'll request that they fix it. Let you know what causes it, it might be awhile before I'm able to get that info on why it makes that wind noise.

Loosen the bolts on the sides of glass(from inside the car). Then make sure the glass panels lay down in a domino effect. The leading edge should be lower than the trailing edge in front of it. Like //// but less angle obviously. Then tighten the bolts. Test drive. Repeat if necessary

Yes, I second the advice of r34king. However, mine didn't stay. It will start to pop back up after awhile. The most noticeable difference is if you adjust the front moonroof so that it sits lower than the seal.
