Is it recommended to treat the convertible top to a waterproofing, much like one would do with boots or is the top already been treated? If needed, what do you recommend?

I don't have any leaks and was wondering what I need to do to keep the top in good shape.

 

3M 303. You can find this in any Auto/Marine Store. They have a cleaner, protectant, and water proofer. It's expensive, but the stuff REALLY works. Bird droppings will not stain your top and wash right off.
