Bought all componites on line (camera, monitor and bracket) and had Best Buy Geeks do the install. Had terrible interferance on monitor when engine running. They couldn't fiqure it out so took car to Mini. They tried filters on the video and a relay on the video (powered from the fuse panel). Finally I read on this site that reverse light, used to power camera, needs a relay to cleanup its power. Had mini do the install and now have a perfect picture. Great safety addition.

 

Is there a camera that will integrate with the factory screen?

 

I don't remember my reseach showing any, but my setup required a monitor. I didn't select connected or navigation.
