I installed the pulsar board with no problems. I can't get the grey panel back in place? Are there any tricks or tips for this? The center clip (hook) is the problem. Can't get the thing to actually seal to the rear glass. I there an adhesive?

If it doing what I think you are saying....
Pull the 3rd brake light out again...and feed it back in...you might need a pencil or something to move the pulsar unit to a spot that will allow you to slip the light back into place...
Been a few years....but if I recall it took me 3 or 4 tries to get mine back in on my 2005 as almost 10 years ago!! Lol...good mod!
Top tip here....
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws holding on the light...the glue holding the lens will fail...then the lens will pop off in a few months...I THINK that's why I had to replace mine a couple months later anyway...
