Ziza LED License Plate Bulbs ECSTuning flickering?

Bought these bulbs about 3 weeks ago, and now the drivers side is flickering.

Pulled the bulb out and flipped it 180 degrees and still flickering.

Not getting any code on the dash.

Awesome lights but something isn't right.

Any thoughts?

I had a couple bad ziza lights out of the box. A quick email to ECS and new ones were mailed free of charge. They are pretty rad about that stuff!

Hello, Just contact our customer service, they can take care of you.

customerservice@ecstuning.com

Also just check the terminals to make sure the prongs on the MINI are not corroded. Sometimes happens when the trunk grip light lens on your MINI falls off, exposing those prongs.

Thanks

Both of mine flicker when starting the car, I assume its part of the bulb check procedure the MINIs do. After about 5 seconds they stop. They've worked just fine for me.

I thought that was the original problem, but it happens all of the time. The contacts are extremely clean and no corrosion.

Yep that's separate thing, that's the LKM Light control module checking for power, bulb check procedure designed by MINI. Does it on all outside leds. Standard thing.

Have you guys ever heard of this happening? Even after taking the bulb out and rotating 180 degrees?

Let's say when the replacement bulbs get here and the problem still persist, what do you think could be the issue?

Nope, have not see that yet. Based off the right side bulb is ok and contacts are ok, from what you said. Looks like a bad bulb. I am glad we can help.

Thanks
