My 07 MCS is a grey import so I don't have access to its previous service records. For safety, I would like to check the Turbo water pump if it has been replaced as per the recall.

My question is what is the correct part number of the updated part? Is there a way to distinguish the old and updated part?

You should be able to call your local MINI dealership or MINI USA, provide them with the last 7 of your VIN, and they can tell you if the part was replaced.
