nothing wrong with the DP, it was designed to be a plug in play with a stock exhaust system all the way up to a 3" aftermarket system.
I'm going with their full exhaust system and the new system gets rid of the crazy angle and mats up only with their system.
I'm very happy with all of the parts I have got from them . Arric is a great guy to chat with and alway willing to bend an ear with.
I have looked and looked for exhaust and finally made my choice with a very free flowing low drone kit from them. The exhaust flow can really hurt the engine and turbo on a turbo car , the sound can really drive you nuts on a 4 banger....

You can see in the plastic bag the adaptor for smaller exhaust.

Dp

So this set is a 3" necked down to a 2.5" not 3" all the way?
Where is the 3rd O2 bung located?

It's 3" all the way if you have an 3" aftermarket exhaust system . If you have stock then it has a spacer/adaptor that you can use . I'm out of town so I will get my wife to take more pics . The 3rd port is inline with the last O2 port just down a little further. I will get those pics this afternoon

Just looking at the pics closer --- I'm with you on where the extra O2 port is ..
We had talked about location and I was charged extra for it .. When I got the box I took the manifold out and drooled on it for awhile and hardly looked at the pipe ---- I put it back in the box and left for work out of town .
I'm going to get wifey to send me more pics. I might not have what I ordered

What is this 3rd O2 that you speak of? I've only ever seen 2.

Yes , factory is two . I asked for a 3rd so I could install a stand-alone gauge so I could monitor my Air Fuel Ratio ( AFR ) It's just a tool to monitor lean or rich condition

I see how it works now; no spacer needed if going to 3" exhaust. If the 3rd bung is there then its on the opposite side of the stock location which is OK. Please make sure it has the extra bung.

Guys, I had the wife text me a bunch of pics, the 3rd hole is NOT there. I ordered and paid 25 bucks extra for it. When I opened the box is was a brief check and off I went to work.
I'm going to edit the add to reflect this error...

I have a 09 JCW Alta 3" exhaust downpipe back. This should fit right? Will it make the car much louder? I presume it will throw a CEL? Do you know how much extra hp you will get?
Thanks
Phil

I think the other guy asked for a shipping quote in that same area code last week. I guessed the package to be around 20LBS and reg shipping was 31.50

This will bolt right up to the Alta 3" , good match up. Yes it will make the car louder , more deeper from what I'm told . Some of the sound will depent on if you are running a resonator or mid cat etc. HP depends on what other mods you have and if you have tuning or plan on tuning. Yes will throw codes but some aftermarket people claim they can selll you cheaters to make it not throw codes.

I just went and looked in the modification forums and found one guy says he gained 15 HP and another guy said he loves the sound and pulls like a beast.
I know their DP is a different name brand but I can't really see a DP being to much different in HP and sound from the next. Its just a 3" muffler pipe bent. There are no vortex swirling chopper blades in any of them....lol

I'm basically throwing in the cost of the ceramic coating for free on this one..... Its never been installed , looks sweet and will work with keeping the under the hood temps down and boosting performance and sound in about 1-2 hours of work installing

I'm concerned about inspection problems. I'm in NY. Would you know if you'll pass inspection?
