'12 studders when hammer down, and limp mode.

The last few days, when I go around someone, or somehow go fast in a burst... The engine would feel like a misfire or 3.

This morning, I went around someone and as I was going around someone the car just skipped and boom... Screen pops up with malfunction. Limp mode.

I stopped and restarted the thing... And she was good again.

What would she be needing when I high rpm that she is not getting?

'12 S convo with 64k. (Automatic).

I see a trip to MINI of Sterling in my future.

First step is to get a code reader such as android torque app pull the code and go from there cheaper than paying BMW to read the code for you.

:/ iPhone. It is all perfect timing. Needs a dealer paid for oil change. The dealer installed rally lights stopped working and now this. I leave for Vegas on Weds so they can have it.

Just wanted to know if it was something known like an air filter or bad like timing chain.

could be coil pack going bad, or high pressure fuel pump, both are utilized to a greater degree under higher loads and rpm's. explain this to mini when you bring it in, ask to scan for codes. if they find anything noteworthy they'll replace the parts.

Mine has a STUTTER, same thing?

I've asked on several occasions for them to code read. Nothing came up. Really annoying to have it act like an old distributer not advancing correctly. Is there something like a waste gate that has no sensor, that could be sticking?

Sounds like a HPFP but could be something else like carbon build up or a bad coil pack.

Could be the turbo diverter valve or associated vacuum system if it is throwing the engine light when trying to go into boost. Will it boost OK?
