With my 2014 CMS, the second issue that I noticed is there is a click noise when I open my glove box.
I will get it checked out when I take it in for service.

The other item that broke was the sunglasses storage box, that fits on the rail.
I went to the mini dealership, and they replaced it for me...no charge.

All in all the CMS is pretty reliable.

I remember my 2003 RX8 was in the shop every other week. The engine would flood, and parts would just break off during normal use. Condensation in the lights, visors fell off, door panel fell off. Radio broke, new ignition, new exhaust, in under 3 years ownership....sold it before the warranty expired.
