hey everyone...we just got our second Mini Countryman, and we upgraded to an S...we got it yesterday and love it already...the john cooper works kit is amazing...

i am looking at getting either the VIP or Alta intake...any advice on which to get? do both of these actually make the blow off valve louder as they claim?

any advice would be appreciated!

 

I got the intake from way motor works for my countryman s and I absolutely love it. The bov is way louder and I can here the turbo spooling up, which I really enjoy.

I have the VIP and the spool and blow off are much louder. Can't say that it makes tons of power, but I really enjoy the sounds. Makes my wife's R56 sound quiet...

 

Hah, yeah, it's definitely a crazy difference. I'll hopefully get around to posting a video this weekend.

I'm trying to convince the wife to get the JB+ now but it is her daily driver, and she already hates the blow off valve sound after the intake, lol. She says the car makes too many weird noises now.
