So clearly the jb+ is a must for performance, but I'm torn between cosmetics or squeezing out a little more performance... Maybe black out all the chrome trim, or possibly some suspension work, not sure which way to go!

Takes the understeer out of the car, makes twisties less work for the driver.
I say give the car a good once over by an mechanic and ensure it is 100% before turning up the performance. Then sign up for some local AutoX sessions to learn what the car is capable in a safe environment. Then when you find faults spend the $$.

JB+
RSB
ScanGauge
Craven Mount for the SG.
Craven Dipstick
And that was $1000 well spent, with some change left over for an oil change.

I just purchased the jb+, altar intake cuz I want the sound, blackout headlight rings, and a black notch style scoop. A mix of looks and some more power. I've def still got a lot on my wish list on outmotoring.com... Finally at a point I can start putting into my car so plenty more to come!
For an N18, no. We have a different PCV system compared to the N14. It slowly reduces carbon on the valves. But still recommended down the road after 70-90k miles. I'm due in 20k miles, depending how it looks.
Performance gain, DP and JB+ is a good combo. Where do you live? I can tell you what tuners are around you.
Suspension wise, coilovers if you want to slam the car. But Koni's and lowering springs will suffice with a rear sway bar made by H-sport, the competition bar is great:-).
Cosmetics, black out using plasti dip if you want but depends what look you want on the car. Gloss or matte, the HL and TL gloss pieces are cheaper now. Belt line is cheap to get and gas cap can be painted or wrapped.

I'm jealous. You're next to RennTech, PAW, and Group4auto...but you already bought the JB so never mind lol.
its only temporary my friend, I wanna get a dp, inter cooler and exhaust before I get a tune! How close exactly are they? I'm looking into manic but no idea what their plans to utilize dealers around here are
They are in Miami based, google them and you'll find it. PAW stands for Precision Auto Werks.
$150 used alta intake (sounds amazing)
$550 wagner tuning FMIC
$300 evolve catless DP
Thrown in a muffler delete $150 from forge and bam you have a stage 3 set up
I bought the BattleTune tune, that has proven 230-260 whp on a MCS/JCW. Plus they have great customer service!
I have a set of Koni Yellows on H&R sport springs. The front is dropped !.2" and the rears about 3/4". The front are dialed down to about 70% and rears are set to 50%. You'll definitely feel the road, every bump… But the way she handles the twisties and the cloverleafs, it makes me appreciate how stiff the ride is.
