I'm looking for the following part #32306763722. I've contacted every Mini dealer and every online website and still I couldn't find it :( My steering is very stiff so the car is not being driven at the moment.

Anyone has it for sale from parting out their car? I will greatly appreciate it!

I have been waiting since April for a Steering spindle U-joint for my 2002 R50 Mini Cooper. I have been in contact with many people at MINI USA and I was told again today that Mini Cooper cannot get them and there are none in the US.

They will not put one on the car from another country because the specks do not match in the US requirements and I will just have to wait longer until they can locate a supplier that can manufacture more.
It has been 12 weeks now!
I cannot drive my car because MINI cannot supply the part!!
What is going on?
I would like to know how many people have had the same experience? There are strength in numbers! Mini of Ann Arbor MI says there are at least 4 of us here, it would be great to know how many other people cannot drive their Mini because MINI COOPER has dropped the ball on it's customers.
Hey MINI if you are reading these forums, We need parts, not excuses!
If anyone has other ideas for gathering this information, like other forums or resources that can get us in contact with more people with the same problem that would be great.
I think it is time that we made some noise!

I'm in the same boat, I drive it anyway, it's just harder to turn. I lubricated the joint and its better

 

Parts will be available very soon. Dealer needs to order part with VIN included, mine had to scan my key for info before ordering. MUST have VIN to have part ordered.

I used "Lucas White Lithium Grease" only, No WD-40, no 3in1 oil or anything. It has been working fine with me, just like how it used to be with no problems. Try this, its only $4 or so. I hope this helps everyone. I bought a used steering column with 60k miles on it but didn't install it since I don't have any problems now.

 

Hey everyone I have had my Mini Fixed at the Ann Arbor Mini Cooper Dealership. They were able to order the part and did a great job on fixing my Mini.
So, the part is available through Mini now and I am back in the drivers seat!

OK....I've got one in a 2003 R50 with 54,000 miles. I'm willing to remove it and sell it. What is this sort of thing worth??????

 

Mini has the new ones again...slightly different since it is for the right hand drive car...but it fits with a slightly different install procedure...
So my guess..
Not much $$, since more than half the parts life is used up...
