Hey guys! new here, just got my Cooper S last week. I've wanted an 'S' for years since I had my regular cooper when I was younger. Always wanted something a little less 'stock' so aero was a must and a cool color scheme was top of the list!

Sold my house and bought myself a present! I found this '08 dark silver and white combo with aero all around and custom magnaflow exhuast.

so far so good, just noticed hood scoop melt, but other than that it is pretty flawless!

let me know what you guys suggest as my next steps for any (if at all) improvements!

 

Nice, lookin' good! I love Dark Silver. Would've much preferred it to the newer Eclipse Grey.

If it were me I'd lose the driving lights and maybe think about some white sport stripes to complement the wheels and mirror caps.

 

Kinda inconsistent with black headlight rings yet silver belt line. The white really stands out too. I like the grey yet prefer silver wheels. That's the beauty of Mini's though. To each their own. Enjoy it!

 

Glad you found what you were looking for. Put some miles on it and see what you would like the car to do better, then improve that.

Yea the headlight rings came black plastidipped. Up close it doesn't look that outa place cos the proximity to the beltline isn't too close.

Was actually thinking of painting the side skirt fins in white?

 

Interesting thought.

 

Car looks great. Frequent oil changes and enjoy it.
