Hello all:

I am hoping someone can help me with this problem. I am the original owner of a 2006 Mini Cooper S R52, and the top just started to go down slowly. It opens ok to the sunroof position and then unlatches just fine but then requires my help to fold back. It goes back up just fine, but over the years I am sure it has slowed down.

It makes no unusual noises either open and coming down or going up.

I have looked all over the forum but no one has posted this question yet to the best of my knowledge.

Any ideas?
