About a year ago i read here on NAM where to get the GP scoop sticker without a VIN from a GP car. I dont have a GP but man i love the look of that sticker around the scoop. Does anybody knows where to get one? thanks in advance. R53 sticker by the way.

the GP sticker is for the R53.

 

Any decent sign shop should definitely be able to help you out.

 

Any sign shop would need a pattern.....they can't create one out of osmosis...lol.

 

You might check with Detroit Tuned or Todd's Mods. I've heard both of them drop hints that they have sources for Gen1 GP pieces.

Actually, growing up with an uncle who owns a sign shop (Signsmith/MA), all we'd need for something like this, would be the location, and take some general measurements for the computer, or freehand a stencil.

 

Really ? That's cool. Guess computer generated drafting come a long way in last 15yrs.

Sorry for reviving an old thread here, but just in the process of dechroming and Joey modding my 05 MCS and decided to make this decal up after some photoshop work to turn for the similar font for the GP into the R53 here. May keep iterating it to have a bit fatter letter opening and white R53 inlay so there's a red outline next to see how it looks. Easy enough once I got the stupid template for the shape done. Wish I would have found this thread earlier to copy the clear shape ESCTuning pointed to here.



UPDATE:
I went ahead and reformatted the decal with the ECS shape and made the letters bigger plus used glossy vinyl and I like it better.

 

Are you planning to make them for sale? I’m definitely interested on getting one.

Hi Kenros. I wasn’t planning on selling these necessarily but happy to cut a few and ship at cost for anyone interested. Would have to calculate that still though. Let’s start with this… What would you consider a reasonable price to pay for one of these?
