Passenger Door

Passenger door on 2010 Countryman, will not open from the inside until you hit the automatic unlock toggle switch twice, after that it will open. My guess is that it might be an electrical issue? Anybody have any suggestions or have or did have the same issue? HELP

A double hit/pull to unlock isn't abnormal.

2010 Mini Passenger door problem

Guess I didn't expain clearly the problem. When the car comes to a stop and you want to exit, here is only way the passenger door will open. You must first unlock all the doors using the electric automatic door lock toggle switch. Once that is done the passenger door will open. If you don't do that you can pull the door handle until the cows come home and it will never open. HELP does anyone have the solution. I dread taking it to the dealer and pay the $75 an hour fee if there's a fix I can do. Thanks

Are the child-locks in the 'on' position? That will mean you cant open the rear doors from the inside.
