I'd love everyone's thoughts:

1) Sunroof/Moonroof. Have one on my current R55. Never use it. This next build is one I'll be keeping for years. Don't want a sunroof. Without it will it reduce road noise??? Should I get one just in case?

2) Leather Seats. I have an extensive outerwear/jacket collection that includes a good number of Barbour coats. They're all waxed coats and the waxed coating can rub off. It's never stained anything and it wipes right off my leatherette bar a bit of a sheen, but the leatherette is black and these would be toffee leather seats. Thoughts on whether they'd "stain" the toffee leather seats. Could I treat the seats???

1) With previous vehicles I always ended up with a sunroof and never opened it--but it usually was packaged with others options I desired. But with Mini, every option is also available separately, so I saved US$1,000 by opting out of it. I am pleased without it but cannot cite whether it is quieter without it. There are plenty of posts on sunroof noise.

2) I ordered the premium leather seats but I have no experience with waxed coats.

 

guess the sunroof thing depends on where you live. for me here in FL, hate them. totally pointless, makes the car weigh more, and less rigid. save your moneys, opt out, specially if you havent used your current one!
