Tool Kit

Can any of you "Lucky Ones" tell us what is in the tool kit. I assume it is still in the trunk. What is in it? Is there a jack?
I was reading that there was an outcry when the R56's with runflats did not come with a jack....yet my 2010 MCS with runflats had a jack.
I'm ditching the runflats on my F56 and find a jack helpful when changing from winter to summer etc...

I have the non-S and there is a jack. Oddly there is a spare tire underneath the vehicle. From everything I had read, cars equipped with run-flats didn't have that. The muffler system on a S wouldn't allow for for a spare to be mounted there, so the question still remains whether there is a jack in the S.

Suggestion....
DO NOT EXPECT TO USE the jack that comes with the car to change to/from winter tires....
It is basicly an "emergency use" jack, with limited speed and durability....
Get a floor jack for $30 (harbour freight makes a low profile one for about this price)... It will be faster, safer and easier!

Agreed. The jack is crap. I had to try and use it once on my 2008 and ended up using the one from my Honda as it was much safer.

That's a drag if you are not going to run runflates! Does it come in that foam box? I could swap out my R56 that now has runflats....and it's sold!

I've been thinking about this (since I don't have a Mini yet)... even if you don't have runflats, are you carrying a spare? if not, does it really matter if you have a jack? Also, I know I have roadside assistance through my insurance (USAA) and I would call them anyway if I was stuck on the side of the highway... having went through a lot of driver training (I'm a AAA instructor in a former life), I seen the stats for accidents while someone was trying to change a tire (target fixation)...
