Ch..ch..ch..ch..Changes

So, after having my CM for a month, I am swapping the Conti RF's to Yok YK580's today (225R50/17)

Do I bag me some fix a flat or a tire plug kit? I ride bikes (HarleyToo of course), so I am leaning toward a plug kit and some compressed air.

I swapped to the chrome Scuttles - looks soooo much better.

Put on the chrome brake vent covers.

Considering doing a wide white center stripe now, but still not sure I want to mess with the vinyl. The Bright Copper looks nice and clean with the white top, mirrors and black wheels.

Next up will be new exhaust tips to fill out the cut outs better, and possible some light exhaust work (would like a nice low growl).

Yea, the compressor may be a better route.

Like most on the forum, the RFs are driving me crazy. I've had them for a few hundred miles and will be swapping to regular tires soon.

The ride home from Discount Tire was transormed! The ride is sooooo much better! And I am really surprised how much wider the 225's look.

Very happy about the swap.

+1 on a compressor. Air cartridges run out, and it takes a ton to fill a big auto tire.

On my bike, when traveling, I carry a plug kit and a compressor I've removed from its oversized plastic housing and refit into a little project box from radio shack. Drill holes in the box to let it take in air, mount the on/off switch into same, and replace the giant cigarette lighter adapter with the nice compact Powerlet plug. Plugs in under my seat whenever needed.

Put the JCW front spoiler on today. Man, that is a ton of little fasteners! But it looks really good. I will get some pic's to post soon.
