Researching a new clutch 2007 MCS
I think I've called every clutch maker I can find that has a product for the mini. I've followed the forum but the posts seem a little dated or maybe I just haven't drilled down far enough yet. My goal is driveability (spelling) but with a single mass clutch. I drive in town and highway and in Colorado we have mountains. There are a lot of mini-terrific roads off the highways.
Who can share some insights based on current clutch models. I've looked into OS I think they now have a Grand Touring model they claim feels and acts like the OE clutch. There is ACT, Clutchmaster, and Spec all with organic clutch plate material they claim have good clamping force but drive like stock. I may pump up the HP on my car a little but not sure if I want to invest the money. Maybe I'll grow a pair and rebuild the whole drive train.
Guidance please.
