Mission M-possible, earn $100

Ok

So as some you may know my wife and I built a 2011 justa to run in SCCA autocross in the STF class. So we have built the car out about as far as we can go, da Konis, rear sway, race seats, lithium battery, full exhaust etc, etc.

We have searched high and low looking for a shop that can flash the stock DME to take advantage of the intake and exhaust mods, and most importantly to bump up the stock redline.

So I will pay pal a $100 to the first person who gets me in contact with a shop that can and already has flashed the 2nd gen R56 justa DME. Maybe, I think they can, they did my 2009, etc doesn't cut it. We are looking for a shop I can ship the dme to on Monday and have it back the following Friday with a tune.
Please help us get the MINI to the front of the pack

Thanks
Chris M

Try Battle Tuning. Don't know about the Justa, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Secondly, you don't have to mail anything. Everything is flashed via the Powergate 3...so convenient.

I sent out the emails and got responses from both vendors, yeah. It looks promising, battletuning is waiting on a shipment of powergates.

So we will be sending out the DME to Group4 after the holiday weekend, spent some time talking to Will Jensen on the phone and it sounds promising. We just did our second dyno session at the same dyno shop, the first totally stock pulls netted 110 whp and 112 torque.

The dyno session from yesterday netted 121 whp and 119 torques with all our bolt ons, cai, header, 2" race exhaust, l.w. crank pulley, royal purple in the motor and transaxle. i will be sure to post up once we get the dme back and do a final dyno pull. The afrs dip down into the high 12's from about 5k on, so I think there is some power to be made. If that is the case I gonna to be paypaling a hundo to Greenminiclub

Well

Battletuning was a bust, after numerous emails all but guaranteeing me they could tune a 2011 Justa, they couldn't. I spent nearly a month emailing back and forth with John at battletuning trying to get their powergate 3 device to download my stock map file. He contacted DNA, yada yada, back and forth back and forth it went. Still no tune, still not happy with the tuners in MINI land. So moral of the story save your money, because no one does tunes for 2011 plus MINI's

Group 4 attempted a tune but we lost both power and torque (dyno tested) and after waiting 3 weeks for them to reply to multiple emails and phone messages, we decided against giving them another try.

Is 2011 when they switched to a DI N16 motor? I have a 2010, which I believe is exactly the same non-DI, N12 motor as your 2009. What was the best tune you found for that?

Thanks!
