2010 R56 - Interior Passenger Door Lock Button

All,

Hoping to get some feedback from folks on a peculiar issue just noticed on our 2010 R56. Power door locks work fine from both center console button toggle and FOB.
Issue is with the actual "button/****" recessed in the passenger door (interior). It is stuck in the down position and does not move even with the interior locking mechanism doing its thing. Verified that the drivers side button goes up and down accordingly.
Any thoughts? Is this a remove door panel operation or is it simpler than that?
Thanks to everyone.

Brian

Is your car still under warranty (4 years/50K miles)? This would be covered if it is.

RKW,
Thanks so much! I had my head all caught on the 3/36k which is all "scheduled maintenance" but when you mentioned the 4/50k I recall that there is that additional year of general warranty coverage. Thanks again! Will be taking her over soon!
