I saw a 2014 F56 yesterday that had driving lights. The lights had covers on them.

I vaguely recollect that driving lights can only be used at certain times. Also they have to be kept covered when not being used.

Am I remembering correctly? What are the rules?

 

You will have to check with local Law Enforcement or Google your Revised Statutes. These laws vary from state to state. In Arizona there is no such law.

 

The covers are primarily for protection from rock dings and for decoration. You have to remove them before you turn the lights on.
