Oil Pan Cover

hi

do we have oil pan cover under the car?? becz i just got back my car from the body shop and im not sure we had a cover there b4 or not?

I have changed my own oil many times, and have never seen a cover.
Mine is a 2012, so maybe the 13-14 models have it?

thanks... its weird that mini dont come with a cover to proect the oil pan...

it's part of the jcw package. i debated picking one up and don't really see the need.
there's a thread in the jcw mods section about the pan.

Its was initially for the JCW Countryman and then when the new JCW Countryman came to the states , they did not include it. Unless someone bought it from us and stuck it one before, then you would not have it. Thanks and hope that helps. More info in the link below.

May I ask what's the function of these belly pan plates other than protection as I'm not going offroad anyway. Is it that beneficial to the aerodynamics and wind flow of the car?

Just like the GP2 belly pan , it provides some protection from road debris and does keep the bottom of the engine clean. I have ran the GP2 one with no problems. The biggest feature is the aerodynamics. Keeps the wind flow clean. While providing venting for certain components.
