Canada's lack of owners lounge bites

Second CM ordered. I have my production number, but beyond that I get nothing until the magic call that it has arrived at the dealership.

I do not understand why we cannot have an owners lounge to enjoy watching the build and shipping process.

With my first CM I eventually got the VIN number and was able to watch it sail across the seas, but frankly compared to what other Mini buyers get it is crappy.

Okay rant over.

small price to pay for having that huge, beautiful country and very few people populating it

that does not make any sense...first I have ever heard of this. It is fun watching the build/transportation process.

A second CM in the family. Nice...

How about some details on color and how you outfitted it? I was blown away at how great it is ordering a Mini. I have never dealt with a car builder that allows you this much flexibility and options to build the car exactly the way you want it...

Yes great country, not too many people, way too much cold right now.

Would love to watch my latest toy being created, it adds a whole new level of fun.

New CM will replace the current one. Leased for 39 months. Current lease is up in July, but as soon as new CM arrives at the dealer I can pick it up and hand back my old one. FUN!

Build as follows

ALL4s
6 speed auto
blazing red
black roof
lights package - love the adaptive xenons - other drivers do not!
Premium package - did not want the sunroof, but wanted the heated seats so premium package it is.
Red black cloth leather seats - red - hated the leatherette and do not like leather
Anthracite roof liner
Comfort access

Perhaps this is a good query to be directed at MINI Canada thru their official website?

Ah, the lease turn-in. A fantastic option if you have very regular driving habits...a new car every 2 or 4 years....very cool.

Xenons are fantastic. heated seats are great, and I even use them in non-winter months. If I do something stupid at my age and play two rounds of golf, or completely detail a car, which takes all day, my back will be killing me...drive for a few miles with the seat heater on high, and it makes a world of difference!

Comfort access. folks that don't have it say it's silly. Once you have it, you wonder how you ever lived w/o it. our CM has it, the MCS does not. I get in my MCS all the time with the key still in my pocket! I'm glad it's on our CM that my wife drives 99% of the time. She works in a dodgy area of town and I like the idea that she does not have to fumble around for keys when getting in the car.

congratulations on the new ride....
