Door Locks

I own a 2013 Mini Cooper hatchback. When I read the manual it mentions you are able to program the car to make an audible signal when using the key fob to lock/unlock the doors.

Is this possible on US models?

Do you have the optional alarm system? I thought the audible lock is only available if you have the alarm option.

Yes I do. I didn't know there was a dependency. Learn something new every day...

Thanks for the response. I do not have the optional alarm. Now it makes sense as to why I cannot program the door locks to give an audible signal. Thanks to Spiney also.
