Replaced black Air Intakes Tunnels for Chili Red

I have been wanting to replace my black air intakes with Chili Red ones for some time now. MiniUSA only sells them in a package with mirror caps for $268.95, but I only wanted the air intakes. I located the air intakes online from England for £84.17 with UPS shipping. Surprisingly, I ordered them on Wednesday and arrive in two days! That is quicker than ordering domestically.

I used a trim removal tool and within 5 minutes, they were replaced.

Looks good.

Actually I just yanked mine and had them painted at my local body shop for $40.

I used red plastidip... quick and easy
the color is off a little from chili red and probably could have used the glossy top coat for a little brghter shiny red but I'm good with it

The JCW didn't come with the red tunnels? From my understanding the red mirror covers and air tunnels are labeled "JCW design package." Maybe I'm wrong. Hmmmm

For some odd reason, the JCW does not come with the red tunnels from the factory. Yet the add on package does.

From MiniUSA web site...

That sticker with the tow hook provides more entertainment for me. I have had numerous coworkers and even folks in the Starbucks parking lot looking at it in trying to seriously figure out what happens if you pull it. I usually respond with "I hope you did not pull it!"

The red mirror caps and brake ducts are called the 'Sport design package' in the UK, there is not reference to JCW.
$268 is ridiculous, they are £109 ($180) in UK, so they would be even cheaper without our 20% tax. Even with shipping they would work out much cheaper.
