I've been debating, test driving, and procrastinating, and drooling over the specs and pics for a few years, and I finally took the plunge and bought a new Mini just two days ago. And I am GLAD I did! What an amazing little car!!

I do have one issue - I cannot find anything in the owner's manual about a little button (with a tiny blue indicator light in the button) on the left side of the dash ....all alone. I push it and the little light comes on. I push it again and the light goes out. But apparently nothing else happens. I suspect it has to do with the headlights or fog lights because of the little icon on the button.

The button has a sideways "2" inside a headlight icon, and it has little lines coming off vertically. I suspect it is a heater or defroster for some light.

Any ideas what this thing does? (I uploaded two pics but they seem to just hang when clicked on and I can't delete and retry them ... :( )

Never mind. I got my answer from the salesman. THose are the driving lights and only come on when the brights are on
