I have a 07 cooper s I cant open the hatch... have tried using fobber you can hear a click when you push button same for the opening from the hatch handle...tried pulling ripcord under seat ....still will not release....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

 

Might water have gotten into the latch and frozen? Can't tell where you're from...

 

southern indiana....no I dont think its frozen I pull on ripcord and can hear movement but I tried pulling on hatch hard enough to rock car up and down...mini dealer is telling me the ripcord should override all electronics but it wont budge
