Remove TPMS Light?

Do any of you guys know if you can make the tmps light stop flashing as well as the picture in the display cluster. I know for the airbag light all you have to do is unplug the airbag module. Was wondering if it is the same for the tmps lights.

Edit: I just found out that unplugging the airbag module doesn't remove the light, does anyone know how to remove that also.

Might want to scroll down and check in the mods/trouble shooting/electrical forums.
You might get a better response from those in that area about this.
I know my answer isn't what you want, but pointing you in the right direction is what I'm attempting.
Also I'm not sure if it makes any difference what Gen car you have, but many times people ask for this information here.

Good luck with finding out.

Why not install TPMS sensors, or fix the fault? (and while you're at it, fix the airbag fault? It's called car ownership, and maintenance.

Thanks for your lovely suggestion. the reason it has no airbags and tpms is because it is a stripped down race car with 4 sets of rims so there is no reason to have tpms in it. The car is professionally maintained by our race team by the way.

Fair enough. Most people here aren't talking about race cars...

How about cutting a small piece of electrical type to cover the light?

In theory it can be programmed off by NCExpert. Never got that to work myself. That's why there is an emojis sticker there now :-)

You can always put the tpms sensors in a pressurized tube and use it for ballast.

that actually isn't a bad idea since the car is underweight already i could do that. What about the airbag warning they are very annoying because they come back to the display after you clear them.

I also posted this in your other thread:

It can be done with NCS Expert as reported over on the BMW forums. The procedure should be close to the following:

Remove tpms fuse first
- Remove 2VB from VO (vehicle order)
- Code CAS and FRM with the new VO (FA_write)
- Default the proper modules for the new VO to take effect

For help with NCS Expert, it's sometimes best to visit the BMW forums there is so many more people over there do it.

Can you clarify what you mean by "default the proper modules", this is where I lose direction.

Thanks in advance.

old school did this..

put the 4 tpms sensors in a PVC tube with a scharder valve screwed in.. pressurize the tube to 35 PSI, and install near the receiver.

as far as the air bag light. measure the resistance resistance of the removed air bag, and create a plug with the same resistance and plug it into the harness.

this is raw.. i forget the type of resistors that you need. but the TPMS thing works. I just dont know where the receiver is in a MINI.

BMW guys had to do the resistor thing when the "acquired" BMW performance seats from Germany without the seat sensor / seat airbag.

The good thing is, without air bags, nothing will "blowup" if you get it wrong..lol
