I have a 2004 Cooper S and I want to switch over to the greenstuff pads. There is currently no wear on the rotors at all, so that shouldn't be an issue. My questions are:

1) What is involved in changing them? What tools will I need and do I have to bleed the brakes?

2) Are the rear pads available for the 2004 models yet and if not, is it OK to change only the front pads and not the rear? I am doing it primarily to get rid of the dust.

3) Are the vented, drilled, grooved rotors worth the money for a street car that might see club drives a few times a year?

1) Search - out motoring had a great procedure outlines for this.

2) Rears are what has changed, and they'll be in July.

3) Run slotted or solid.
