SO here is my case.

I bought an 06 R53 a little while ago and the owner had put on some black standard glossy mini bonnet stripes. Whoever put them on literally put the vinyl on the car and cut them out using an exact-o knife ON THE HOOD and INTO THE PAINT.

AN absolute MORON did this!!!

So now that these stripes are faded I want to find new ones but if I get them the same size they won't cover up the marks this **** made gouging into the paint from the old stripes.

Any idea where I can buy these stripes but get them to be maybe half an inch wider?

Here is the damage this **** did..... I cannot understand how people can be so dumb.... The white marks along the side of the black stripes is where the knife gouged through the paint top layer...

 

Ouch - See if you have a vinyl wrap shop in your area and just get some new stripes installed.

If you were here in Alaska, I'd know where to send you.

Or get Knife-less tape and some vinyl and make them yourself.
