What did you sell your stock wheels for?

I have the black two spoke wheels that come on some of the 2013 mini cooper S's with the factory run flats. They are collecting dust and I want to sell them. What's the value of the OEM wheels and tires? I think I put about 4500 miles on the tires.

This is a very general response, but the short answer is "not as much as you think." It seems to me like brand new takeoffs might get about $150-200 each, with tirewear less.

On a tangent, if you ever might be selling or trading in your car, keep them. When I was looking at used MINI's recently I wouldn't even have considered one without OEM wheels. You would take a big dealer hit too for aftermarket wheels. Just something to consider unless you know you will have the car forever.

Mine aren't even worth selling! No one likes the design of my stock wheels so they're just gathering dust in the corner of my storage unit!

Keep them too long....and the value drops a bit...cause the tires become worthless as they age...
About 6 years old, sometimes closer to a max of 10, depending how they are stored...and the ozone in the air starts to attack the rubber....
I have bought oem rims....much of the value is in selling/using the tpms..before they DIE, about 3 years...and in my case using them for snows....even ugly rims are great for snow! OEN are strong...and decent paint...so do fine with salt...

I've seen them anywhere from $120 to $600 a set, depending on condition and tires. You will have a hard time getting anyone to pay more than that for stock wheels, even with good tires.

That was my thoughts on them. I am using the TPS on my new wheels.

Do you want to get rich or move them? If they are not being used for anything and you have new wheels......peddle the dust catchers. Cash in hand is a good thing.

I agree but don't listen to Dr. Spade above you. We know each other from a different forum and he's joking around.
