Just trying to decide wether to paint my trim peices black or body color? My car is pure silver with pure silver top by the way. Any suggestions?

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
Pure silver/black has a nice contrast to it.
Pure siver/PS will look like most cars that lack the black vinyl arches. It has a nice finished look.

 

If painted black, it will look very similar to the factory unpainted black finish. On the other hand, painted the body color makes the car more unique. :smile:

Just make sure thatthe body shop really prepares the plastic for painting properly or you will get stone chipped to death. I have even heard of a few shops offering guarantees against that which would be great to have.

Looks great Painted trim,but where I live more black trim would be better.
Gravel,back roads,farm vehicles plopping gumbo on the highway
