Does MINI make a parcel shelf that would fit the passenger side? I'm wondering if I it is possible to delete the glove box and install another parcel shelf.

 

Just take the glove box door off and it'll be a parcel shelf

 

I know the early European models had a right side shelf instead of a glovebox. I don't know about the current ones. So, yes, a passenger side shelf does exist. If it is currently available, I do not know.

Yes in Europe the first year MINIs all came with two parcel shelves standard. later on they added the US glove box because it was a popular option.

Best to contact Classic auto campus for the correct right side dash euro parcel shelf part numbers.

I have seen the double parcel shelf look last summer in Europe and it is fine but things will slip off the shelves.

 

I have the driver's side shelf. Got it from Classic (a sponsor here w/ outstanding service). It has a great non-slip rubber surface. The glovebox doesn't hold much anyway. I might replace it w/ a shelf if it was readily available. Try Classic and let us know what you find.
