Gifts to a R53 owner?
Hello,
My brother just bought a 2006 R53. He's so excited!
He owned an old Golf and was very disappointed by the maintenance it required. I'd like to help him be more educated about the car, know what to expect, and be able to fix things.
What should I get him?
(I will have to ship these overseas, so weight is an issue)
These are the things I'm considering:
Anything else that is small and a MINI owner should have?

- Repair manual (Bentley or Haynes?)

Pulley = moar power? How much more?
What does it do to fuel economy and reliability? It is a 8 year old car with high milage. Being the only car, reliability is the key point for him.

not sure a gift of one is great...
some like bigger...or smaller...or wood...or a modifed 8 ball, etc...
Some a machined from a solid hunk of metal...like the Whalen shift machine..$$$...starting at $150...the untimate ****...but high end..
