Just finished painting the GoodYear lettering on my 17 in runflats(one side, passenger). Wow! Talk about agressive/speedy looking...OK I grew up in the 80's (1983 HS Grad). What a difference. I was going to look for some side stripe or such, but I just might have to really paint theses in with a permanent paint. I'll try to post pics tommorow.

Definately would look cool on the General Lee Mini.

Sorry..ran out of sunlight as I was painting in the RS-A. I will get pics up as soon as possible.

Jeez..You guys are tough. This isn't anything I'm selling/developing or asking a SASE for.

Begging the boards forgiveness...

We should really cut him some slack. He said he'd have some pics tomorrow.

We're just an impatient lot though when it sounds like something original and creative has been done.

What kind of paint did you use? Do you think it will last a while?

Ooooh. Me like. If not permanent paint, then what, white-out? No kidding, what did you use?

Imitation is the something or other...

I used titanium white acrylic paint. Water soluable. It says its permanent but I think that is in a waterless enviroment.

We will see how long it lasts.

Been there, done that. The paint lasts for about 3 days before it looks dirty and bad. Clip a roundabout or scrape anything and it goes. Even tried the whitewall tyre pencil, did'nt work, just looked yellow in a week.

There really is'nt anything that can take the flex and stresses of the tyre.
