Yellow outline engine light and frigid temps
Hi all,
My 2011 MCS lit up the yellow outline engine light when I started it this evening to head home from work. As most places in the US, it's nasty cold here in Columbus, OH. It was a balmy 2°F when I started it. It did fire right up but stuttered a second, then settled into it's normal idle. I'd also like to add that the low fuel light came on on the drive in this morning. I drove for about 5 miles to get fuel, tanked it up, and when started, it stuttered again, then settled right in to a nice idle.
Could the light and stumble be from maybe water in the fuel and the low temp? I'd like to add that my drive is about 30 miles one way so the car does get warmed up. Well, as warm as it can get in this weather!
