Hello!
As a new vendor to Mini Cooper Online I wanted to start off by featuring one of the most requested products. Amsoil 0W-30. Amsoil synthetic motor oils will deliver unmatched protection, performance and value. The 0W-30's fuel efficient formula reduces drag and is highly resistant to heat stress (volatility -Noack, which is a test Amsoil required long before it was adopted by the API) & thermal oxidation.
For more information on this product including it's low temperature protection, shear stability and service life see the following data sheet. 0W-30 is a replacement for 5 & 10W30 motoroils.

I have 100's of customers including myself that would never use anything else. If you like you can request a catalog at my site! If you are unfamiliar with synthetics please request the "Oil Guide" which it explains what makes a Synthetic different and what to look for as API requirements. Use it in all your vehicles. One case for your MINI could last you 2-years. See my Oil Analysis on my site for engine wear and it's TBN values which I used it for over 27,000 miles in one vehicle (4 oil filters were used).

Amsoil was the first in Synthetics and covers all industries from food and textile plants to reduction gears in coal burning power plants. We have a lubricant for every need. And filters too. (Oil, air, water separators, etc)

This months special is a Free Bottle of P.I. (Performance Improver) fuel treatment with any case (oil) purchase. The PI reduces emissions up to 80%, keeps injectors clean, improves mileage, and one 16oz bottle treats 160 gallons. Compare that to your STP and others. All motor oils are priced far below retail all the time. I ship from 10 US warehouses. Non catalog orders will have reduced shipping! Now that winter is here try the 0W-30 or 5W30 and retain maximum performance and economy your MINI was designed to deliver.

Amsoil is good stuff, but why would anyone spend $$$$$ on oil when it's free for the 1st 36,000 miles.

Hey Zappa...I have a question. I live in Las Vegas where it rarely, if ever, goes below freezing, and in summer sometimes hits 120 degrees. Is 0W-30 going to be ok in a supercharged engine or should I be looking at something heavier?

Other than the unnecessary wear you will incur, you increase performance, mileage and saves yourself the headache of repeat visits. Amsoil is 100% Synthetic and 100% American product. They have been in the business of Synthetics 20 years longer than Castrol. Our 0W-30 is guaranteed for 35,000 miles. Why won't Castrol back their own oil?
So one case if you follow the service recommendation will last you 2- years. See the spec sheet on my site. (4 oil filters)

It's actually Turbo approved so it's good for supercharged engines. I raced with it here at Texas Motor Speedway and several autocrosses in the summer. We have Ford Explorers on the Explorer forum using it for their Arizona off road ralleys, etc.. Your in good hands.. I know Vegas. my dad lives there too. (He's the morning guy on Koai) We have a warehouse there so you can pick up and save shipping!

Ok...so the oil will work (I'm only @ 500 miles though, so I have a little while to go yet) but what about a new filter? Do I have to go to my dealership?

For now, YES. But all Amsoil dealers have access to Hastings filters and currently all other BMW canister types are available so I know the MINI one will soon be on the list. I hope to sell them for less than the dealership.
I also have the 2-stage foam airfilters but I need to get Amsoil to widen it another 1/8". It works now but you have to be real careful that it's centered, and I'd rather have one that fits perfectly so I'll be working on that.
