Hello,

Brand new mini owner and would like to replace the 15" oem wheels with larger ones. I am not opposed to 17/18" oem wheels and am also open to aftermarket wheels. I would like to ensure a proper, unobstructed fit.

Would 18" oem wheels work on my '08 R56?
What specs do I need to look for with my car?

Any suggestions and resources would greatly be appreciated,

17" and 18" wheels will fit without any problems, larger than that require a steering stop to be installed due to the larger tire diameter. The larger wheels will also cause the ride to stiffen due to the smaller sidewall if you keep run flat tires. You can see the factory wheels on http://www.shopminiusa.com
