help will 17x9 fit ?

well I have a 17x9 35 enkei rpf1 that I used for a summer on my old subaru tire size is 235/40r17
I love the rims and honestly wouldn't want to sell it cause I know i won't get what they are worth
so my question is what size adaptors do i need to rum? (smallest i found was 18mm)
And will i be able to tuck the rims in?
i plan on doing H&R springs, i have a 2013 cooper s

Almost guaranteed they won't fit. Biggest I've seen on a mini was 17x8

Enkei RPF1 in 17x9" only come in 5x114.3 bolt pattern and MINIs are 4x100 so they won't work.

For that wheel only 17x7" in the MINI bolt pattern is available.

If you did find a 17x9" rim to fit the 235/40-17 tire would work but you'd need a lot of negative camber to avoid rubbing due to the wide rim and wide tire. The more common approach is to use a wide wheel and a very narrow stretched tire like 205/40-17.

On my current set up I have 1/4" clearance to the wheel wells. Are you sure of this wheel ? What suspension do you have also ? You may have to get real low pros for tires if you are dropped....see my pics...LOW!!!!

17x9.75" has been fitted to the rear of a mini before. The issue is once you fit an adaptor with this wheel the offset will be crazy as the adapter will act like a massive spacer. You would be better off doing a hub re-drill. However, this sounds like more hassle than its worth. Loads of negative camber will be needed and your arches rolled and trimmed.

Yea with the adapters necessary, it wouldn't fit.
