Navigation & Audio Parrot Asteroid Tablet +Hi-Fi
Parrot Asteroid Tablet +Hi-Fi
I have a R56 with the Hi-Fi Upgrade. I don't have Bluetooth support only the 3.5mm AUX cable with no USB.
I use my iPhone a lot and its annoying having to connect the AUX cable into it every time and also taking calls.
I wouldn't mind spending money and getting the Parrot Asteroid Tablet, but I'm worried that it won't work correctly with the HiFi system. I have checked parrot website and doesn't help at all. As I will be playing music through it I don't really want to loose any audio quality.
Even if it includes removing my AUX from my stock radio and making it the parrot output thats ok as i'll just leave my radio on AUX all the time (I never use CD or Radio anyway)
Any help would be much appreciated

BTW I have found out that the Unit DOES have a Rear and Front Line out (2 Separate Ports)by reading the manual online.
The Manual states this:
Installation with external amplifier
If your vehicle is equipped with an amplifier :
Install the Parrot ASTEROID Tablet using the Front and Rear Line Out outputs on the electronic box to avoid saturation problems such as popping in the speakers, background noise etc. Use one or two jack cable(s) to connect the Parrot ASTEROID Tablet Line out outputs to your vehicle audio system.
Deactivate the Mute on streaming option on the Parrot ASTEROID Tablet. To do so, select Settings > Sound, and uncheck the Mute on streaming option.
Select the Auxiliary input on your car stereo to listen to music.
Not quite sure where to go with that
