R60 Difference between pushing the gear lever into M/S mode and pressing the Sport Button
Difference between pushing the gear lever into M/S mode and pressing the Sport Button?
Does pushing the gear lever into M/S make the steering wheel weight up, gas pedal response, fuel remap, exhaust burbling just like the sport button?
Or is the M/S gear mode just gets the transmission into manual mode and everything else in normal mode? (Gas pedal response, steering wheel weight etc.)
Moving the gear into M/S doesn't seem to light light up the sport button, but DS is shown on the tach tho. So do we still need the sport button?
The point is that I just want the faster gas pedal response and exhaust note but not the heavy steering weight in the sport button... Is there a way to do this?
Haven't got time to try it out myself yet.

Moving the lever only changes the shift points and allows you to shift manually.
Hitting sport changes the shift points, decreases power steering, changes throttle response, and adds pop/burble.
There is no way to mix/match.
