Broke my MINI's nose :(
I hit a deer in the MINI, where is the best place to order parts from? I will need:
- Front bumper cover
- headlight trim ring
- top plastic grille
- maybe top grill trim ring
- Maybe lower plastic grill
- Lower radiator hose clips
- Possibly a hood
Anybody got any of these sitting around? Suggestions?

I've done in 3 deer in my life. Nice to have total insurance. Once in a Honda CRX-si, once in a Toyota Celeca and once in a Camry. All about $2,500. The Mini I'm sure will be a lot more. I hope you have collision. The bummer of living in the country.
You mean Comprehensive. That's a comp claim. And reason 3,352 why I have always preached about carrying a low Comp deductible.

It depends if you dodge an animal and hit something like a tree or just hit it straight on. Insurance company just said to hit it, unless a human and the deductable would have been less. Thank God I've not gone through through the human connection. Dodged a Racoon once, and went into the woods! If I had dodged the other way, I would have plunged off a 300' cliff! I have full coverage and the hand of God that time. (or whatever higher being or brain control you like to believe in) I'll hit the sucker next time. Sorry to you PITA people. I saved my own skin. I would have driven home that day.
Of course. But he hit the deer. Comp claim.
And hitting the animal or swerving to miss it isn't really a conscious decision. You'll react out of instinct. But hey, if you think you can make that decision in 1/100th of a second, more power to you.

must be down south or hit a baby. My ex nailed what I call real deer in Iowa with our silverado, $5K in damage, took out hood, pass side fender and both doors , step rail, tranny cooler, grille, radiator.
Too bad you didn't hit it while driving in reverse, I have a rear bumper sitting in my garage.
Too bad I didn't hit it while driving my Jeep, I woulda just washed off the fur and been fine.
It was small, but the MINI brakes did a good job of slowing me before impact.
