From R56 to R61

Greetings, I been away for a awhile, and thought I will share my experience with the Paceman model.

I been driving R56 since 2007 I had 4 since, Manual JCW in 09 and 07 one with JCW PKG, this one I am turning in is a JCW exterior pkg. with option 205, is in HCG with black rim and a cooperS in chile red with sidewalk rims which it was very nice.
Anyway the Paceman deal was too good to pass so I am in one and loving it!

Will swap some of the parts from my R56 like the DP and the airbox...and I have a Burger thingy coming and the H&R springs are riding on the boot until my Tech Greg, has the time to swap all in, cant wait.

But the things I have done or came in with:

Union Jack Sunscreen
LED Drls
Blackline headlight rings but they are anthracite not black the match the scuttles in color

Lets see what happens, I think is going to be fun!

Same here buddy! I walked into my mini dealership and was offered something I couldn't refuse. Now my wife has the R60 and I get my own R61.

Nice
Do you feel any difference between the stopping power of your brakes vs. your wife's R60?

My wife's R60 has better braking and stopping power than my R61. However, the R61 has wayyyy better handling and stability.

Interesting, so good deals are to be bad on pacemans right now? My r56 just went in for some service and I was given a black paceman 6 speed as a loaner. Pretty cool car, similar to my hardtop but different at the same time.

Certainly not as quick. Don't mind driving it right now tho! ALL4 is fun.

Only if you order it with sport suspension. It is a no-charge option, but it is not the standard option as was previously assumed.

My Paceman s all4 came with sport suspension only because I got the 19" wheels. I am loving it, tall wheels, sport suspension and all4... This car feels planted even on ice rainy days. I would love to have 20 more hp but the car feels pretty good anyway.
